Hands-on Math! Bring your teddy bear or other stuffy to the party and learn all about how number bonds work for addition and subtraction! This is a fun, 2-day introduction to number bonds for Kindergarten or a great review for 1st Grade.

Class Experience

 2 files available upon enrollment
2 copies each of worksheet "A" and worksheet "B". (OR 2-3 papers to draw number bonds on) A pencil or marker 10 small "counting" objects -5 of one kind and 5 of another Some ideas are: 5 cheerios and 5 goldfish crackers 5 pennies and 5 small erasers 5 paper clips and 5 pieces of macaroni Please try to find small objects that will fit in the circles of the worksheet. Worksheets will be posted in the classroom for printing, along with a photo of how to set up the learning supplies.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Note: I use a third party creation website called "Canva" to create worksheets and visual supports for this class. I will be using it for screen-share only during class. It does not require families to have an account.
