Class Description for "Tech Warriors: The Evolution of Military Inventions" In Tech Warriors: The Evolution of Military Inventions, students will explore the groundbreaking technological advancements that have shaped modern warfare. We will cover a range of topics, from early inventions like the crossbow and cannons to the development of modern-day drones, tanks, and cyber warfare. Key milestones in military history will be discussed, such as the role of radar in World War II, the innovation of aircraft carriers, and the evolution of nuclear technology. The class is structured as a seven-day rapid recon course, with each day dedicated to a specific topic. Each lesson will begin with an overview, followed by in-depth discussions, video clips, and interactive activities that help bring the material to life. The course is designed to encourage critical thinking and student interaction, with opportunities to engage directly through questions, group discussions, and small projects. This course is designed for self-paced distance learning, allowing students the flexibility to engage with the material at their own convenience. My teaching style remains hands-on and student-centered, focused on making complex topics relatable and exciting. Although the course is self-paced, students will have opportunities to interact with me through Canvas if assistance or additional guidance is needed.
