Nouns are the cornerstone to any proper sentence. In this one-time intro class meant for our youngest learners, learners will learn what nouns are and what kinds of nouns exist ( we will cover common, proper, singular, plural, abstract and concrete in this class), using both serious and silly words! I earned my BA in English from Washington University, and two Masters degrees in the Education field from Brown University and The George Washington University. I have taught language arts to learners in K-12 for over a decade in non-formal settings such as afterschool tutoring and weekend enrichment programs. In Hillsborough County, Florida, I was nominated at the SERVE Tutor of the year in 2012. I have also published poetry, magazine articles, and academic book chapters.
