Class Experience
These are one-on-one ESL tutoring sessions. In this ongoing course, students will gain skills in speaking, reading, grammar, and pronunciation. Lessons will be chosen according to the student's individual level of English proficiency. Learners will learn new vocabulary. Students will speak in sentences, ranging from simple to complex, according to the student's ability. Students will review the names and sounds of all letters of the English alphabet. Learners will practice reading...
This class is taught in English.
1. The student will learn to say and understand vocabulary about basic English topics. 2. The student will be able to speak in declarative sentences. 3. The student will be able to ask questions. 4. The student will be able to read the sounds of all English letters. 5. The student will be able to read selected words to practice specific phonics skills. 6. The student will be able to read high frequency words in English by sight. 7. The student will be able to read sentences and reading selections. 8. The student will be able to identify basic grammar structures and use them correctly. 9. The student will be able to speak about the basic math concepts: shapes, addition, subtraction, patterns. 10. The student will be able use songs and poems in English.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
