The student will be able to ask questions. 4. The student will be able to read selected words to practice the long vowel sounds. 5. The student will be able to read high frequency words in English by sight. 6. The student will be able to read sentences and reading selections. 7. The student will be able to identify basic grammar structures and use them correctly. 8. The student will be able to speak about the basic math concepts: big, small, skip counting by 5's, & addition. 9. The student will be able to identify when words should be capitalized in sentences. 10. The student will be able to correctly use the words: this, that, these, those. 11. The student will be able use songs and poems in English.
The teacher has 20 years of classroom experience on the elementary and middle school level. The teacher has been teaching English online since January of 2020. The teacher is certified in Basic TESOL, Advanced TESOL, TEFL, and TESL.
Homework Offered
Students will complete the lesson assignments after each video in the unit's playlist. The unit assignments are as follows: Assignment 1: After viewing video #1 in the unit playlist, the students should upload a video clip of themselves answering the questions at the end of video #1. Assignment 2: After viewing video #2 in the unit playlist, the students should upload a video clip of themselves answering the questions at the end of video #2. Assignment 3: After viewing video #3 in the unit playlist, the students should upload a video clip of themselves answering the questions at the end of video #3. Assignment 4: After viewing video #4 in the unit playlist, the students should upload a video clip of themselves answering the questions at the end of video #4. Assignment 5: After viewing video #5 in the unit playlist, the students should upload a video clip of themselves answering the questions at the end of video #5.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
