Class Experience

In this small group class the student will be able to interact with the teacher and practice their English language skills and/or social skills in a safe friendly environment.  The student will be able to talk about any topic of interest along with the teacher and another peer. During the conversation the students will practice their communication skills, build self confidence, as well as learn how to navigate a conversation.  Students will practice their social skills/ English skills while interacting with a small group.  This class will help build self confidence and  social skills.  Students will learn how to feel confident speaking to adults and other students virtually.  This class is designed so students can take it as often as they would like to in order to continue to build confidence in their communication skills in a safe friendly environment.

After enrolling in this class please send the teacher a message letting them know what topics the student would like to discuss.  Each student in class will get a turn to talk about their favorite topic.  The student can bring any toys, books, or materials with them to class in order to help them teach the others about their favorite things. Ms. Natalie is skilled in working with students with a wide range of strengths and interests and makes sure everyone in class feels safe and accepted.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
