It is teatime in the classroom. We will read a Fancy Nancy book and have fancy conversations about all things fabulous.

In this class, we will read: Teacher Nikki will stop at times during the book to support students' comprehension and to assist students in making connections between the text and self. The students will be encouraged to share their thoughts and learn together. Students can dress up for tea if they like. Students can use tea party props they may have at home to enrich the tea party experience. I believe in giving numerous opportunities for students to share with peers and strive to have a safe environment where all students are encouraged to take chances with their learning. This class is the place to 'tea' on Saturdays!

Hello! I am Teacher Nikki!
I am a mother of four wonderful children, now aged 28, 26, 24, and 16. I hold a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, a master’s degree in Reading Instruction, and a specialist degree in Instructional Leadership. With 24 years of professional teaching experience, I have had the privilege of working with students from Pre-K through 8th grade. Additionally, I volunteer at my family church, assisting students up to 12th grade, and I also serve as an ESL tutor for students learning English. I love working with students and helping them discover the joy of learning.
Outside of teaching, I am an avid reader and love to cook delicious meals and treats for my family and friends. Some of my favorite book series include Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Teaching is not just my profession; it’s my passion, and I find it incredibly rewarding and enjoyable.
