Tea Party Extravaganza with Teacher Laura
Class experience
In this course, learners will engage in a fancy tea party! Each week, learners will bring a different toy to class to show, dress in their favorite fancy outfit, and tap into their creative side by making a fun and simple crafts. Learners will engage socially as we discuss our favorite toys and create our unique crafts. The class is structured to be a casual setting that allows for learners to socialize. Learners are encouraged to bring a tea cup (or any cup) of their favorite beverage to...
Learners will socialize with their peers through conversation, discuss their toys using adjectives and descriptive language, follow instructions through step-by-step modeling and build their motor skills through assembling different crafts.
1 file available upon enrollmentMaterials for each week: Week 1: Froot Loop necklace: Learners will need a strand of yarn (any color), long enough to reach each child's chest, and enough Froot Loops to string onto the yarn. Week 2: Magic wand: Learners will need a large craft stick (a popsicle stick may be too small), 2 stars cut out of craft foam (the template for the stars will be attached. Please use it to trace 2 stars on your craft foam and have them cut out before class), stickers, markers, glitter, and glue. Week 3: Royal castle: Learners will need their printout of the royal castle that is attached to the listing. They can choose to cut out their castle or not. They only need 1 castle printout (either the pink or blue) of their choosing. They will also need items to decorate their castle, such as markers, crayons, glue, glitter, pom poms, stickers, or anything else they choose. Learners are also encouraged to bring yummy goodies to eat and a tea cup filled with their favorite beverage to drink, but it is not required. They are also encouraged to dress in fancy outfits and wear fancy hats, if they would like.
I do advise that anything that requires cutting be done prior to class but if students need to use scissors during class, parental guidance is advised.
