Class Experience
The Reputation Era club is all about the Taylor Swift album: Reputation PROMOTIONS: Get $5 off my classes with coupon code JOY669LR5 until Apr 21, 2023. CLASS SCHEDULE INFORMATION: *This class will remain ongoing and meets once per week on Fridays 2:30-3:30PM. *Our club is 4 weeks long and will cycle back to the same topics on week 1, after we have completed week 4. Students will develop a greater artistic appreciation and a sense of community amongst peers with similar interests.
I've been a "Swiftie" since 2006 and I've owned every album since then. I'll be attending The Eras tour on April 1, 2023.
No homework. But if you like to participate in the Taylor trivia it's always helpful to review some facts about the era you're participating in.
*Students are welcome to bring Taylor Swift concert photos, artwork, or merch to share with the class. They must be shared with me prior to class start date so I can approve them and share the images on my screen only. *Pen, paper, or digital notepad will be helpful for taking notes or participating in the lyric game. *I will supply a PDF with lyrics and any additional materials as needed for this class.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
*I will be altering any non-family friendly lyrics or fashion images, to reflect topics and discussions that are appropriate for this age group. *I will share my screen several times during the class to show Youtube videos, Youtube audio clips, Canva fashion PDF, Canva lyric PDF, concert photos, costumes I've created, and trivia games via Kahoot. Students will not be required to access Youtube or Canva on their devices or need any additional access to view my resources. *All videos, audios, images, PDF's and games will be family-friendly and age appropriate. *Students may share their concert photos, artwork, fashion designs, and Taylor merch in class. Please send images to me to approve before the start of the class and student's will be able to view it on my screen. *Students will need to access Kahoot to play the trivia games. These games are played only with the members of our class.
* Youtube is used in this class to watch videos related to topics such as music videos and audio clips of Taylor Swift performing. Students do not need to access youtube from their devices or any additional resources. * I've created a fashion PDF in Canva and a lyric PDF in Canva that I will share on the weeks we will discuss those topics. Students do not need to access Canva from their devices or any additional resources. * Kahoot is used to play a Taylor trivia game with the students in their class.
