Homework

1-2 hours per week. Students will be expected to practice at least 15 minutes every day outside of class time.

Class Experience

Beginner - Intermediate Level

Learn how to improve your singing voice through music theory, music history, vocal technique exercises, and study the music of one of the most popular musical artists of our lifetime: Taylor Swift.


This Flex Class is adapted from Big Universe Music’s most popular live class on Outschool, "Sing With Me! Singing Club"


This 12 week program will feature the following each week:

- Video Lesson on music theory, music history, or vocal technique 

- Vocal Warm Up Video to relax the voice before singing

- A song assignment to improve your voice and musicality every week

- A workbook practice assignment to continue learning after lessons


Students will be encouraged to share their work each week by recording audio or video in the Outschool classroom and/or submitting their workbook assignment. Please see full syllabus for song selections.

Students will learn to take care of their voice, how to use their bodies properly for singing, and how to sing popular songs by Taylor Swift.

Lessons will be posted via YouTube. Adults may want to monitor students’ use of YouTube during this course. Parents may want to review the lyrical content of songs throughout the course.

Students should be able to read lyrics independently in order to participate in the class.
