Taylor Swift Grammar Club - Learn Grammar With Taylor Swift Lyrics!

Each week, I will teach a new grammar concept that is illustrated in the lyrics of multiple Taylor Swift songs. Topics covered will include the following:

Since the class is only 30 minutes in duration, we will cover only one topic per class. I will provide many different examples of this grammar concept being used in her lyrics and learners will have the opportunity to identify this grammar concept in her lyrics and then generate their own examples of how to apply the concept using their own words. 

By covering one grammar concept each week, the lessons will stay simple and easy to understand, and learners will leave with a solid understanding of the concept at the end of each lesson. 

I will teach this class using slides that contain the song lyrics along with my explanation of how each grammar principle is demonstrated in each lyric. Learners will interact with me and with each other by pointing out the grammar principle demonstrated and by creating their own lyrics to apply the principle that Taylor uses in her lyrics. This class will involve a high level of learner engagement as they learn to use each grammar principle independently. 

No background knowledge is necessary! Because we will discuss a new grammar concept in each course, learners will be able to jump right in with no prior grammar knowledge. 

Each week, I will welcome all new learners and ensure them that we are excited to have them on board! As the topic will be brand new each week, students will never feel behind.
