Are you a Swiftie that loves fashion? This is the class for you! Each day, we will jump into a new Era and re-create one of Taylor Swift's iconic Era's tour looks. Then students will imagine they were just hired to create a new look for Taylor Swift and we will sketch our own unique designs together! We will discuss garment terminology, designers and all things Taylor as we sketch together! Learners can recreate their favorite Taylor outfits, or design their own looks! We will learn the basics of fashion sketching and illustration as we go! A few custom design templates will be provided needed for class. We will be sketching with pencils and coloring with markers and/or colored pencils. This class meets once a week, but the classes do not build on each other, so if you miss a class, you can jump right back in!
Learning Goals
Students will learn techniques for fashion sketching and illustration, how to use inspiration in their designs, and how to think like a fashion designer! (Students may also learn some Taylor Swift facts from their peers!)
