This class aims to spark a passion for both literature and cooking, nurturing well-rounded learners with a taste for learning and creativity!
Sprout & Learn is a student oriented learning center catering to elementary-aged children, providing both in-person and virtual homeschooling options. Our teachers offer a range of expertise, which include a strong focus on promoting social and emotional well-being. Additionally, our educators excel in the realm of project-based learning, ensuring that students benefit from a comprehensive and holistic educational experience that nurtures the whole child's mind, body, and spirit.
All the necessary ingredients for our kitchen adventures will be shared a week in advance.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
In Tasty Tales: Cooking through Literacy, we encourage parents to provide guidance based on their child's skill level during the culinary adventures. Learners may need assistance with measuring, cutting, or mixing, depending on their familiarity with kitchen tasks. To enhance the experience, we recommend having a kid-safe knife, a suitable cutting board, and a space that allows for mess-making and learning from mistakes.

For a smoother flow, grown-ups can measure out ingredients in advance and have them ready for each session. This proactive approach ensures that children can focus on the joy of storytelling and hands-on cooking without feeling overwhelmed. With your support, we aim to create a positive and enjoyable learning environment where both literacy and culinary skills flourish!
