Join us for this weekly end-of-Spring cooking class, where we create some amazing tacos inspired meals from around the world and tasty enough to share with friends and family for years to come. Vegetarian options are available.

Class experience

Students will learn how to: 
*slice, dice and chop vegetables.
*properly cook fish, chicken, and ground meat.
*mix and layer ingredients
*use herbs and vegetable to add flavor and texture.
*make adjustments with ingredients and cooking times as needed
*kitchen measurement and calculations
*make homemade sauces and dressings
*trust the process of creating
*Will learn the history of traditional tacos and more
I am a Cooking and Art Enrichment Instructor, a traveling Foodie, and a Health Coach for children ages 5 -18. I have taught fusion inspired culinary, baking, and art classes for over 12 years.

Assessments Offered
After each session, each participant will get to taste their cooked meal and share it with their family.
Grades Offered
The ingredient list and recipes will be sent out every Sat or Sunday before the week of each class starting. All ingredients can be purchase at your local farmer's markets and grocery stores. 

GENERAL KITCHEN UTENSILS LIST (specific tools are posted with the recipes)
1.A big/ medium bowl
2. 2-3 small prep bowls
3. A large or medium skillet
4. Cutting board
5. A knife: chef  knife ,  pairing knife,  or clear plastic knife with grooves on the blades. (one that they are most comfortable with)
6. Butter knife
7. A small spoon and fork
8. a can opener
9. A Small Pot for rice/ Quinoa or a Rice Cooker
10. Baking tray
11. Vegetable peeler
12. Rubber spatula
13. Aluminum paper
14. A blender
15. A big baking dish
16. Measuring spoons and Cups
17. Electric griddle or cast iron griddle.
18. Food processor
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Since we will be using, blenders, knives, the stove top, oven, graters, etc. for certain recipes, parental supervision is advised if any assistance is need.
