There will be about 10 minutes of prep work before class.  Students should have all supplies ready to go at class time.
Mexican Hot Chocolate
 4 cups Organic/Non Organic 2% Milk
 7 Tbsp cocoa powder
 1/4 cup maple syrup
 1 tsp vanilla
 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
 1/4 tsp nutmeg
 1/4 tsp cayenne powder

Candy Cane Fudge (White)
    2 (10 ounce) packages vanilla baking chips
    1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
    1 1/2 cups crushed candy canes
    1 dash red food coloring
Candy Cane Fudge (Chocolate-your choice)
    2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
    one 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    ¼ cup chopped candy canes about 2-3 large candy canes
Note:  Both recipes call for aluminum foil and cooking spray or butter to grease pan  OR
     Parchment paper.  It is best to use an 8x8 inch baking pan or something similar.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
No inappropriate content, just a need to be safe in the kitchen.  We will be microwaving chocolate, so ingredients may become hot and should be handled carefully.  Student may also use a knife to cut some of our ingredients, parental assistance or monitoring may be needed.
Warning:  This class has ingredients that are or may come into contact with known allergens such as wheat, nuts, dairy, eggs, food coloring and soy.
