In this one session, students learn what Mindfulness is and how it can be helpful in their life. They learn Mindful body, Mindful listening, and Mindful breathing. They learn to sit quietly and bring their attention to their breathing and become relaxed. I use Mindful Games Cards to practice with them and teach them how to stay focus and increase their concentration by noticing their breath or listening to the sounds. I introduce them to Breath ball ( Huberman Ball) and we practice breathing...
Students will learn the basic Understanding of Mindfulness practices and they can register in my ongoing Mindfulness classes if they like after this class to learn more techniques.
Why me: I am a long time mindfulness practitioner. I practice mindfulness meditation for over 25 years now and as I see how this practice changed my life and the life of my students for better, I have committed myself to pass it on to everyone, especially our kids and teens. I have been teaching Mindfulness to kids, teens, and adults for over 5 years now and happy to help them understand themselves better and live in the present moment, become more focus and live at peace. I enjoy sharing my passion through teaching mindfulness techniques to my students; helping them to learn this profound mind training practices, which brings clarity and awareness to their minds. I truly believe that Mindfulness practices allow for greater concentration, productivity, resiliency, self-management, and sense of happiness.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I teach Mindfulness in a completely secular way, not attached to any religion.
