In this comprehensive reading intervention class, students will have a twice weekly program tailored to their needs based on the Lindamood Bell intervention strategies.

US Grade 2 - 6
This class offers decoding/spelling skills from the Lindamood Bell "Seeing Stars" program, as well as reading comprehension skills from the"Visualize Verbalize" program. This private class may be tailored to include any or all of these areas, based on your child's needs. Many students who could benefit from Lindamood Bell's center based programs are often unable due to the high cost. Each lesson will be tailored to the needs of the learner and may be a combination of activities. Although this class is listed as once weekly for 4 weeks, reading intervention may be an ongoing process that takes a few months in order for the student to be confident in the skills practiced. Follow up sessions may be advised.
As a special education teacher for 20 years, I have been using the Lindamood Bell techniques for decoding, comprehension, and math. The Lindamood Bell method combines auditory, visual, and language skills for a comprehensive approach for the struggling learner. **Because this class is designed for individual learners, I'd be happy to work with your schedule.
