This class provides an intro series for the beginning/advanced beginning dancer who has a high level of interest in learning to tap dance. In Part 1 of this series, we'll start by practicing basic steps such as walks, digs, brushes, scuffs, flaps, and shuffles. Moving on, we will feature a new step each class, and students will have access to breakdown videos that allow for practice between meetings. Week 1: Single Sounds & Basic Walks Week 2: V-step Week 3: Cramp Roll Week 4:...
In this class, we will build tap vocabulary and work toward clear and precise execution of sounds. Speed is developed through consistent practice and each dancer progresses at a personal pace. Because mastery and confidence are built over time, you can expect to progress through the 6 parts of this class in order. Previously taught steps will be repeated in the following class meetings and classes in this series.
