Students will learn anger management and problem solving skills for handling extreme emotions. They will participate in small group, and 1:1 discussions about triggers and situations that make them angry and learn more age appropriate coping skills including relaxation techniques, behavioral management and cognitive strategies to help them learn to manage emotions more effectively and appropriately. They will engage in role play, watch video clips and complete critical thinking activities...
I love teaching anger and frustration management from a biological basis and behavioral understanding. Knowing what causes a behavior and recognizing triggers is helpful to dealing with it more effectively.
Teacher will provide PowerPoints, worksheets, and interactive links for students to use during and after class. There is no material for students to purchase.
