Hello and welcome to the Intro to Programming with SQL (basics) class! 

This one-time, 50-minute class will cover the basics of the SQL programming language. This class is designed to learn the basics of SQL through an interactive website, SQLbolt.com. We will program together and go at a comfortable pace. 

*No Experience Required

We will cover:
        - What is a Query
        - Understanding the problem at hand
        - Understanding SELECT / *
        - Tables/Columns
	- Where Clause
	- Filtering/Sorting

If your student has any issues or questions about the material covered, I am here to help! (I love talking about programming)

Students will learn the basics of the SQL programming language and start to understand how to retrieve data from databases.

Supply List

Learners will need a computer to write code (use Zoom on the same computer so we can share screens). An iPad will not work for this class. A big part of this class is sharing our screens. This allows me to take a look at your code and offer suggestions and correct errors. For these reasons, please turn on this feature if it is not already allowed.
