This class will offer ESL students ages 9 through 12 an opportunity to practice their conversational English! We will focus our discussion on Halloween and our favorite autumn activities. The class will have a casual atmosphere, but will incorporate gentle correction to ensure proper grammar and develop oral writing skills! We will work to expand out vocabulary of language related to Halloween and autumn, and practice target sentence frames to help the students express opinions and describe experiences to their peers. We will focus on proper use of past, present simple, present continuous, and future verb tenses. All of this while getting to know one another and learning from and with peers of a similar age and experience level. This class is recommended for students with a minimum of 2 years of English lessons under their belt.

Feel free to bring any Halloween costumes, decorations or other fall items that you would like to show and tell your classmates about!
