In this ongoing club style class we will build and share creations using the Harvard Protocol
Class experience
In this course, learners will have the opportunity to build and share their creations made in TinkerCAD with each other and the teacher. There will be no directed builds, but rather learners will be invited to share their work or ideas for builds and ask questions to the teacher about TinkerCad or invite other learners to make suggestions or give feedback on their models. This class is taught in English.
Learners will interact in a social environment while practicing sharing about their projects, giving and receiving feedback, and participating in group discussions. Learners will also have the chance to improve their skills with TinkerCAD through practice and question and answer sessions.
Mrs. Fimbel has been a teacher for over a decade and is well versed in managing students and social topics and creating a welcoming environment. Mrs. Fimbel has taught TinkerCAD for several years and has presented it's use at the Texas Computer Teachers Association convention in 2019.
Homework Offered
Some students may choose to build and create between classes. This will be supported during a show and tell time at the beginning of class.Assessments Offered
No formal assessment unless requested by the learner or their adult. Informal assessments on progress and areas of improvement will be made so the teacher can focus feedback and quick demonstrations to helps learners improve their skills with TinkerCAD.Grades Offered

Because this is a social class learners will be encouraged to discuss topics of interest. Effort will be made to help learners advocate for themselves and to keep an open and inclusive mind. However, since the topics will be student lead there may be topics of disagreement. Mrs. Fimbel has taught for over 10 years and is skilled at keeping topics appropriate. However, it is recommended you speak with your learner about how to speak up if they feel the topic is not appropriate or unsettling to them.
