During this class, students will learn different kinds of sharks, where they live, their diet, some unique facts about them, and what makes the ancient creatures alive for so long! Students will learn most about apex predators and why they play an important ecological role in the environment. We'll also dive a little into science concepts, but mostly, this class is an opportunity to observe, share ideas, and learn more about the creature. Pictures will be accompanied to show students the different species of sharks and what makes each of them unique. This class will be discussion-based so students have the opportunity to share their thoughts and discuss with one another some observations they have! Talking during discussions is not mandatory and only encouraged.
