Join our 8-week class to discover research-backed stress reduction techniques through a variety of journaling methods. As a mental health therapist, I'll provide weekly guidance on managing stress and anxiety.

Class experience

Students will improve their understanding of journaling, relaxation techniques, strategies for anxiety/ depression, time to journal to create the habit of journaling.
My educational background is in Mental Health Counseling (M.S). As I therapist, I have 8 years of experience working with teens and youth as it pertains to mental health strategies and tools. Additionally, I have completed child development and brain development research and worked as a certified educator. I am immensely passionate about teaching youth about mental health and have completed years doing so as a therapist and educator. Due to my background and expertise I will be able to teach this topic from a developmentally appropriate point of view. I have spent years creating age appropriate mental health content for teens and have a true passion for the field of mental health.
Journal or notebook for each class

Please let me know if you need a printable journal template.
The intention of the class is not to elicit reports personal experiences with mental health from learners. If the learned begins to share any personal mental health concerns I will kindly ask the learner to refrain from further discussion in front of the class and to continue the conversation with a trusted adult. If a learner ever shares something that is concerning, I will reach out to parents after class depending on the context of the information

Note: Review Outschool's Community Standards before class to ensure that learners remember to keep personal information private.
