Class Experience

The class is designed for students who have taken either a camp or  belt advance classes in Tae Kwon Do. 
This class is a fast pace Tae Kwon Do work out. It is for the student who has a basic understanding as well as for the more advance. I highly recommend the class to students that have taken a class with me and do not want to lose technic over the summer. It is an interactive class  taught on video chat. 
Students will be working-out throughout the class with the instructor.
Each class will begin with a quick introduction and learner verification.  We will then proceed to warm up and stretching. 
The work out will consist of, but not limited to jumping jacks, Push-ups, martial arts kicks, blocks, strikes and some self defence. Modifications will be shared throughout the work out.
Learners will need comfortable work-out clothes,  and a safe area with ample room to move around.
Please have a water bottle near by as water breaks are encouraged.
Learners are encouraged to use their cameras, as I can help with proper form to avoid injury, however I understand if they prefer to turn their camera off after learner verification. I will encourage to turn cameras back on at the end of class to share the class experience.
Each student should be prepare for class with the supply list of materials. Having the supplies makes for a better class experience.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Please provide ample room for the student to take the class, as we are moving constantly. If the room has wood floors or tile please don't wear socks as they may be slippery. Student most wear pants and a top, that allow for movement. As part of the class the student will warm-up and stretch, before starting the days lesson. Self defence will be taught in the most friendly and fun atmosphere.
Supply List
For the student to fully experience class, please make sure students have all the supplies on day one. 
12 paper towel rolls . or 4 paper towel rolls with yoga blocks, boxes or any other object that can make the paper towels taller.
5 Paper plates
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I am a 4th degree certify black belt in Tae Kwon Do. 
For the last 24 years, I have had the honor and privilege to work with children passing on this ancient art.  Whether it has been within a county’s educational system, a summer camp, private groups or my own studio, I enjoy being able to teach children something new and watch their confidence build as they learn. I have experience working with typical as well as children with special needs.
I have been teaching on Outschool for over a year, enjoying passing on the art of Tae Kwon Do to learners across the globe.
