Description

Class Experience

Students will introduce themselves and tell the class something special about them. Students will listen to the story "Tacky in Trouble." As I read the story, I will ask prompting questions about what Tacky is doing that is different. Why is Tacky different? What does it mean to be an "odd bird?" What does Tacky do to get in trouble all the time? Students will then color a picture of Tacky and write why it is good to be different. Students will listen to a story and then write about why it's good to be different. They will discuss the fact that it's ok to be different.

I have taught reading to young learners for over 13 years. I love reading and I love to instill this in children.
