This course is adapted from the fifteen-week version to make it perfect for busy schedules! It's the same material, just condensed into five weeks instead of fifteen. This course will help students explore the concept of anger management by participating in activities that help them recognize and manage the feeling of anger. I am a licensed special education teacher that has experience working with students diagnosed with behavior difficulties, some including anger and self-regulation difficulties. It is important to note that this course is simply informational and does not serve as medical or therapeutic expertise.
Homework Offered
Students should complete at least one activity a week. Activities will vary in length and type; and, may require the support of an adult for planning and self-regulation purposes. The goal of homework activities is to develop realistic approaches towards attainable results.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
