Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello Outschool Students and Families! My name is Stephanie Sauvageot. I am a passionate educator from the wonderful sunny state of Florida! I love cooking, kayaking, reading and spending time with my family. I have a pet Gecko named Izzy and a Pixie Frog named Jabba that occasionally find their way into my classroom.
I began teaching in 2013 and have learned and grown so much along the way! I have worked with students from Kindergarten through Grade 8. I have experience teaching all subject areas but Phonics, Math and Social Studies are my favorite! I enjoy working with all skill levels and have had great results with small intervention groups, small enrichment groups and whole groups of on level students. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of South Florida and a Masters of Education from Capella University. I hold a current certification in the areas of Elementary Education K-6, Exceptional Student Education K-12, and Speakers of Other Languages. Additionally, I completed a yearlong program to become a Reading Intervention Master Teacher. I am currently the Assessment and Data Coordinator for my school. I love this position because I am able to keep up with the most to date testing standards along with testing strategies.
I believe in exposing all students to a high standard of learning. All students have the potential and capabilities to learn and be successful. However, each student has their own unique path to reach those learning goals. I believe in providing an individualized approach to education where each student is able to feel comfortable and supported to reach their learning goals on their own path!
I hope to see you in the classroom soon!
