1 live meeting
1 in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this club, we'll be discussing what it means to create an engaging character, how to play an engaging character, how to run various games systems (Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Star Wars, and so many more wonderful systems), what it means to be an engaging, empathetic, and exciting game master that makes players want to come back for more, and any other topic the students want to discuss that pertains to tabletop roleplaying games. This club is structured around what the students want to discuss. While I will have prompts for discussion for times when students don't know what to talk about, every student is allowed to bring their own questions, comments, or concerns to each meeting to discuss with the group. This is a space for students to learn and grow in an organic manner about a topic they deeply care about. I will lead this club through a dialectical approach. My hope is that it feels like a Socratic Circle or book club on the topic of TTRPGs.
