Every tabletop game players love from Dungeons & Dragons to Scrabble all started with a single idea. In this class, I will lead learners through how to create items for tabletop roleplaying games from classes or subclasses, magical items, NPCs (non-playable characters), and more as well as trying out a build for a small, homemade system! This class is taught in English.
I have been playing tabletop games for three years now and gamemastering for two. I slowly got to know others and am now a professional GM for hire. I am also an actual play performer and game designer. I have a graduate-level game design degree, graduating in 2021.
I will supply worksheets for building our different elements or learners may write in their own notebooks/paper/etc.

There will not be anything upsetting or scary in this course. There will be a discussion on themes or items to not be discussed to keep every learner safe such as avoiding spiders, mice, etc. If learners do not feel comfortable sharing in the group, I am happy to accept those privately and add them to my list to share with the class.
I will be showing examples or information from certain Dungeons & Dragons books. All of this will remain on my screen so students will not need to own the materials. I will also be showing some YouTube videos as a part of the class. These will stay on my screen/be embedded so students never need to be on YouTube themselves.
