Students can practice setting the table at home for the family and practice using their flatware properly.Class Experience
In this class, students will learn the purpose of dining etiquette, how to set a table and how to use flatware. This is an introduction class to table manners and will be an interactive class using slides, games and video clips as additional support. There will be a portion of time dedicated for every student to demonstrate their skills learned. The students will have fun while developing a life skill that will enhance their ability to have great table manners in any setting. Each student should have a basic table setting available to practice with.

Students will learn why dining etiquette is an important skill to have, how to set a table and how to use flatware.

Supply List
Each student will need to have a dinner plate, soup bowl, bread plate, dinner fork, knife, soup spoon, butter knife, dessert spoon, dessert fork, dinner napkin, and a drinking glass. Students will receive a summary of the information after class for later reference.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
