Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
In this one-time class, we will engage on a visual battle between T-Rex and Velociraptor. We will make predictions as to which dinosaur is the meanest dinosaur to set foot on Earth, while having thoughtful discussions as to why we chose different predictions. We will examine unique characteristics and features of each dinosaur, which will help the learner to decide what dinosaur wins each battle. Each time a battle is completed, the learner will mark who they think won on an original printable. As we progress through the lessons, we will take breaks for discussions, and a fun poem about T-Rex and Velociraptor. As we wrap up the final battle, we will each determine who we think is the meanest dinosaur ever, and discuss the "why" to our choice. Finally, we will wrap up the lesson with a game of hide the dino!

Siblings: Siblings and/or co-learners must be enrolled in class to participate. Thank you for helping me keep my class sizes small for paid learners.

Mute: My classes are very interactive, so I prefer to keep children off mute, when possible. There are times I may have to utilize the mute function, as a lot of background noise makes it hard for me and other learners to hear. If so, no worries. They can remove it to speak. Parents, feel free to use mute, as needed.

Raising Hands: My one special rule is to raise your hand to speak. I have a couple ways that I make this really fun, and they all seem to do it quite well. No worries if they are still working on this. School is for teaching, and I will teach it to them in a fun way.

Refunds: I follow Outschool's Limited Refund Policy. This can be viewed on their website.
