Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their folding skills and symmetrical placement of items while creating a unique relief sculpture!
I love to create artwork, and teach children about my love of art! I have a BFA in Art as well as my Masters in Education with 14+ years of experience. My students think I’m fun and make class exciting.
You will need a piece of paper to attach your folded origami pieces. This paper can be any color you would like. I try to use a 12x12 piece of paper or I can show you how to attach small papers together with tape to make a larger paper. Choose 3-4 colors of paper and cut them into 3 inch squares. (8-10 squares of each color) If your parent has a small paper cutter, this will make this process easier. Cut some copy paper too so we can practice our folding! Lastly, you will need a glue stick!
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
