I am a Pennsylvania certified teacher and love teaching hands-on topics. It is my personal belief that it is not the job of a teacher to impart knowledge, but instilling a desire for life long learning shall be the goal. If a student finishes my class actually wanting to know more then I have done my job of instilling a desire for knowledge.
Handouts will be provided for students to print out. If your student would want to try the experiments demonstrated during class, links to purchase those items will be provided upon enrollment. The purchase of these is not necessary but some students may want the hands-on experience.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
