In this on-going social club, students will have the opportunity to play video games with others who play the same games. Typical games would include Splatoon 2, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Super Smash Bros, Pokémon, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Maker 2, Mario Kart, and Mario Odyssey but any other E rated Nintendo Switch games are welcome. Although not required, to fully interact with other students in the club, a Nintendo Online subscription is recommended Breakout rooms will be used...
In addition to teaching young learners, I am the mother of an autistic gamer and I know the value of providing a safe space for students of all abilities to share their common interests with others. Additionally, during this challenging time, having a social outlet is more important than ever. This fun community will provide students with the opportunity to interact with others who like to play the same games. .
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- Nintendo Online Subscription
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
