Class Experience

Students will enjoy the story "Swimmy" by Leo Lionni both in Korean and English. Students will also learn different strategies to learn how to read and write. For a 40 minute period, I will provide various activities including read-aloud, listening comprehension Q&A, and songs and games. My classes are very structured and kids friendly which means, kids will not need too much assistance from their guardians while they participate in the lessons. Students will not have to be prepared with prerequisite skills for reading. Beginners and little learners are welcome to take my classes. I am very excited to meet little readers and see them enjoy my storytime and fun activities!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I am a certified public school teacher in the U.S. I am currently teaching kindergarten at a public school. It is my 10th year of teaching at my current school.
I majored in English and Elementary Education. I have two master’s degrees. I love learning and teaching as much as chocolates and coffee!
I know that students learn the best when teachers guide them to discover knowledge and engage in their learning by setting up clear learning objectives and provide concrete expectations. And the most important thing for both teachers and students is to have fun through their teaching and learning journeys!
