In this multi day class class, learners meet twice for one week. We will engage in activities surrounding sharks. Learners will engage with one another to explore different types of sharks, their senses, teeth, disguises, and more! We will interact with one another through engaging and informative slides and games. Each class will include learning about sharks, games about sharks, and sharing about sharks. Students will receive resources through the classroom page to extend learning at home...
-understanding sharks and their characteristics, survival, adaptations, etc. -engaging and interactive lessons for understanding and integration of subjects -creativity through creation/models of sharks -comparing and contrasting
K-6 Licensed Teacher Certified Reading Specialist ESL Virtual Teacher
No homework. Students will be provided with at home extension resources to use after class, if interested.
All handouts will be posted on the classroom page prior to the class meeting. Both Days - pencil and colored pencils or crayons Second Day - supplies for models (clay, dough, blocks, building bricks, etc)
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Google Slides will be used for presentations/lessons/activities.
