Get ready to shake it off with our exciting Taylor Swift Tabata Workout for Kids! This fun and energizing form of exercise combines the high-intensity intervals of Tabata with the catchy beats of Taylor Swift's greatest hits. Perfect for kids who love to move and groove, this workout is designed to build strength, endurance, coordination, and (most importantly) confidence!—all while having a blast with other Swifties! What is Tabata? Tabata is a form of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) that’s both effective and time-efficient. In a typical Tabata workout, participants perform an exercise at maximum effort for 20 seconds, followed by a 10-second rest, repeating this cycle for 8 rounds. This method helps build strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness in a short amount of time. It’s a fun and dynamic way for kids to stay active, especially when paired with their favorite Taylor tunes! Swiftie Vibes: Each workout session features a playlist of Taylor Swift's most popular songs, making exercise fun and motivating. SONGS ARE CHOSEN BY THE KIDDOS LIVE IN CLASS! We will also play a Taylor themed game at the end of each workout! Tabata Style: Short bursts of intense exercise followed by quick rest periods keep the energy high and the workout effective. Each workout will consist of a warm-up (safety first!) followed by the teaching of the exercises and learners practicing good form. Up next, the main event, 3 rounds of Tabata designed specifically for children (4 min each with rest times in between exercises and rounds). Finally, we will finish with a stretch and cool down. Easy to Follow: No prior experience needed! Each move is simple and can be done in your living room. Full-Body Workout: Engage your whole body with exercises that build strength, improve coordination, and boost cardio fitness. Positive Environment: Led by the always energetic and encouraging Ms. Shannon, this class is all about fun, fitness, and self-confidence. All exercises can be modified to ensure each child is feeling successful! Yes my goal is to get a great sweat session in with your child, but I'm not trying to build the strongest kid on the block- I'm trying to BUILD UP our kiddos into confident and strong young adults who have a desire to live active and healthy and find a type of movement/exercise that they enjoy! Learners will have the opportunity to help me count out our exercise repetitions and socialize during the workout session (hey let's build friendships too!) You can expect your child to receive lots of encouragement and praise throughout our workout. I never put anyone on the spot and always correct form in a positive way across the whole group (no calling out names in here unless it's a shout out for excellent work!) They will leave feeling excited about fitness, and with a new workout routine they can practice at home! Our goal at Ready Set Fitness Kids is to pour our love and enthusiasm for physical activity into your child so much that they develop their own intrinsic motivation to get active each day! We want every child to leave the Ready Set Fitness Studio feeling empowered, strong, and valued. Can't wait to meet your kiddo! Whether you're a seasoned Swiftie or just love to move to the music, this class is the perfect way to stay active and have fun!🎤🕺💃
