Welcome contestants to our Valentine's Day themed spelling bee! We will have a fun competition spelling words that have to do with Valentine's Day & the winner at the end will be our Sweetheart Spelling Champion!

Does your learner love to spell and loves a friendly challenge? In this class, we will have a fun spelling bee competition with words that have to do with Valentine's Day. We will have each learners name in a random generator, and whoever’s name gets chosen gets a chance to spell the word. (If there is only one learner signed up for class, do not worry! We will still have tons of fun). Learners will have the option to “Hear the word in a sentence” like typical spelling bees. If they do not spell the word correctly, we will have another name chosen and the next student will have a chance to win the point. We will start out with easy words, then move on to an intermediate set of words and then finish with a few advanced words. The student with the most correct spelled words at the end of the class will be deemed our Sweetheart Spelling Champion and receive an e-certificate rewarding their win. This will be a fun, light hearted competition with positive encouragement from the group.

I offer both cooking and baking classes that meet every other week. Baking and cooking are two skills that are important to learn, but fun and rewarding as well! To make a meal or baked goods for your family/friends to enjoy is one of the best feelings, and I love to help my learners experience that feeling. It's also a great opportunity to branch out of our comfort zone and try new recipes!
