Class Experience

I am a certified teacher, and a master home chef that loves providing my family with homemade food made from the heart.  Knowing how to make certain foods that are quick and easy to make at home is a valuable skill.  For example, knowing how to make your own syrup without all of unneeded ingredients that you find in the store, is better for your body. I would love to share my cooking expertise with you!

I have been helping my mother cook in the kitchen since I was 10 years old.   My mother was a master chef!  People would fight over her food on a daily basis.   As a child, we had many family gatherings, and when people heard that my mother was cooking, they would stop everything to partake in culinary skills of delight.  So, I made it a personal mission of mine to learn everything from her, and I did.  I am proud to say that, I too, have become a master chef!
I suggest shopping at Sam's Club, Costco's, or BJ's for your baking needs.   You can buy what you need from there in bulk without having to run back to the store so fast because you ran out of ingredients.  From these stores, you can get:

flour
sugar
vanilla extract (it needs to be pure for the best taste.   Imitation vanilla extract is okay as a substitution)
chocolate chips
brown sugar
sweet cream butter (it needs to be real butter, not vegetable spread for the best outcome.  However, vegetable spread can be a substitute.)
baking soda
baking powder
cocoa powder
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Alllergen alert: Please be aware that these recipes may contain nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, or soy. 
Students will need to be supervised because we will using the oven, stove, and there will be a limited use of knives.
