Students will learn to measure out ingredients. Hands on to knead their dough. They will roll out dough and learn to prepare them for a sweet filling. They will have many options for filling from apples, cherry, Nutella, and whatever they could imagine. They will find out that there are so many amazing option with the sweet empanada dessert.

Learners may need help with turning on oven and removing empanadas from oven.

All purpose flour shortening sugar baking powder milk Powdered sugar Egg Rolling pin Medium mixing bowl Spoon Measuring spoons Measuring cups Cookie sheet 3”-5” round cookie cutter or something equivalent to those sizes. Could be a round cylinder drinking glass.
