Do you know which very popular ballet was a FLOP when it was first performed? You guessed it! Swan Lake! Let's enjoy the story of the one of the world's greatest ballets, Swan Lake! As an introduction will start by reading a fun story called Hen Lake and learn some new vocabulary words. Next, we will look at the real story of Swan Lake, learn fun facts along the way, listen to the music that brings it to life, and even try a few ballet steps! This is sure to be entertaining for young dancers...
Parental guidance is recommended during class to ensure dancers do not injure themselves while dancing. Students will need an open space to move and should have comfortable clothing to dance in. Barefoot or ballet shoes are recommended. Students should stretch before class to avoid injury. Please have a water bottle readily available for dancers during class.
