Welcome to Swahili for Beginners 107. This is a year-long Swahili class broken down to 8 months from Swahili 101-108. A 4 weeks course that builds and reinforces vocabulary, reading comprehension, written and spoken language. The class is taught using power points, reading short stories and conversations in and out of class. Phonics and previous topics taught will be revisited and reviewed to build on vocabulary and communication. There is homework each week on vocabulary building, spelling, reading comprehension and spoken language using homework sheets, practice phrases, games, songs and You Tube videos. Week 1 Day 1: School Day2: Short stories that cover previous classes will be read in class. The student is expected to read aloud and converse in Swahili during class. Week 2 Day 1: School Subjects Day 2: Short stories that cover previous classes will be read in class. The student is expected to read aloud and converse in Swahili during class. Week 3 Day 1: Weather Day 2: Short stories that cover previous classes will be read in class. The student is expected to read aloud and converse in Swahili during class. Week 4 Day 1: Insects Day 2: Short stories that cover previous classes will be read in class. The student is expected to read aloud and converse in Swahili during class.
