Description
Class Experience
Students will continue to learn how to maintain good posture and hold on the violin and bow. Students will demonstrate musicality as they learn and play their pieces. Students will learn good practice habits and demonstrate them. Students will learn performance skills, as they perform in class for one another. Students will learn how to play the violin.
I am a violinist who has played for over 20 years. I have taught in a christian school setting, and done private lessons on an individual basis as well. I love helping students find their passion and unlock abilities they didn't know they had when they learn for the sheer joy of it!
30-60 minutes of practice per day minimum of the material covered in class.
Each student will be expected to obtain a copy of Suzuki for Violin Volume 2.
Learned progress is self assessed, with students learning to self critique and evaluate. Student's progress will also be assessed by performance of pieces. Students will also be assessed on diligent practice and good practice habits. Student's progress can only be assessed if the student attends class regularly, and participates in class.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
