In this small-group class, taught by a State-Certified music educator, students will refine their skills and practice advanced techniques such as off-the-string strokes, shifting, and vibrato. They will play both Classical and pop songs.
Class experience
This is an ongoing violin class for students who want to continue refining their skills while learning their favorite Classical and popular songs. If your child has been learning violin at school and wants to advance faster, this class will surely help them reach their playing goals.
Experience: At least one year of experience playing the violin.
The techniques we will focus on are:
Vibrato, off-the-string strokes, smooth bow changes, beautiful tone production, and...Learners will improve their technique as they play songs from different books and styles.
I am offering this course because teaching is my passion. It is the instrument I love most and know most about, and I feel it is my calling to pass both my knowledge and love for this amazing instrument to others.
I am a professional musician and a State-Certified K-12 Music teacher based in Miami, Florida. I hold a Master’s Degree in Music Education and a Bachelor's in Violin Performance from Florida International University.
I have worked with pre-school and school-aged children for over five years, and have taught group music lessons as well as private music lessons to hundreds of students. I am passionate about passing on the love and knowledge I have for music to all of my students.Homework Offered
