This private small group tutoring is for intermediate to advanced Suzuki Recorder Method learners
Class experience
This class is suitable for students who have completed at least one of my Second Steps in Suzuki Recorder multi-day classes and/or are confidently playing all pieces up to and including The Finch. If you have not taken beginner classes with me please see below to determine your set placement and contact me for class availability. Students will be working through the Suzuki Repertoire in small group tuition. Students will work through the sets from early Book One to the end of Book Two. Learners wishing to continue past Book Two will generally move to individual lessons.
I have been teaching Suzuki Recorder to individual students and small group classes in the London area since 2013. I trained with British Suzuki Music Association. I teach students of all ages and I am particularly experienced in teaching early years learners.
Homework Offered
Students are expected to practice everyday in order to progress through the repertoire. Set 3 students will be expected to do daily practice of 10-15 minutes Set 11 students will be expected to do daily practice for 30-45 minutes. Practice resources will be provided.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
