Sushi: California Roll for Lunch

Let's make a California Sushi Roll together! We will learn the order in which the sushi ingredients are put together so it comes out looking like the sushi rolls you buy from restaurants or from the store. This class will not require us to use any heat, which will allow us to work in a safe environment. To make this class more fun and exciting and easier to navigate, I ask that you come with a few things already prepared. Come prepared with your rice cooked, avocados sliced, and cucumbers sliced. We will use a knife at the end of our class so we can cut our rolls into pieces. Parents if you are not comfortable with your children using a knife then I gladly invite you at the end of our lesson to take the finished sushi roll off the camera cut it up for your kid and hand it back. When we have finished making our sushi roll we can eat them together and talk about our dish! 

Safety and privacy are our top priorities. Families know their kids best pay attention to possible allergens such as nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, or soy. This will help parents make an informed decision about whether this class is a good fit for their learners and make sure that all students are prepared.
