Workbook (provided at the time of sign up in the classroom page) 6-sided dice For the "My Zombie" craft: 1 pc white paper 1 pc colored paper Paper Plate Brain colored yarn Marker School glue Glue Stick or double sided tape Scissors For the "Build a Bridge" challenge: 30 Q-tips (double-ended cotton swabs) 15 pipe cleaners 10 craft sticks (popsicle sticks) For the "Zombie Brain Surgery" activity: 1 medium or large bowl or bin 1 medium Ziploc bag 1 permanent marker 3 very well sharpened pencils (colored or regular) 1-2 cups (250-500 mL) water colored with food coloring
This class is meant to be fun, funny, and NOT scary. However, we will be conducting "zombie brain surgery" in which we will be using pencils to puncture a bag (the zombie brain) in order to cure our zombie friend. You know your learner better than anyone, so if this is something they would not be into this might not be the class for them.
