I had been living in Beijing, one of the most historic city in China for more than 30 years, and grew up in Hutong and kept all the customs generation by generation. I taught mandarin in Oklahoma, US for 2 years and voluntarily provided Chinese culture sharing club in the local public elementary school for 3 years. I LOVE Chinese culture and this unique language. My dream is to support more and more students to know Chinese culture and Mandarin Chinese. I'm passionate to work with children on Chinese cultural learning and Mandarin teaching, because it's not only full of fun for me, but also meaningful for me. Some testimonials from previous learners and parents: "Ms. Zhang is an engaging, encouraging, and energetic teacher!!! Every experience we have had with her has been amazing, and I highly recommend her to everyone! Her enthusiasm is infectious! She's a great teacher and I love how positive she is with kids!" ---Staci Koutsoukos "Our child loved his time in Moony's class. Art, food, culture, language, history - there was so much for him to absorb, and Moony was a thoughtful and gentle guide. We highly recommend her class!"---Suzy Thompson

We will use Blooket.com to play games which is a third party platform which is similar to Kahoot, but more cute for young students. The game ID and link will be sent in "chat" during the class and students could join by game link or game ID, no personal account or information needed.
Review sheets, worksheets will be sent out to enrolled students after each class.
