With a focus on collaboration, perseverance, goal setting, and problem-solving, learners thrive in a supportive, Minecraft no-cheats environment guided by a certified educator. We'll start with empty inventories, explore in Peaceful Mode, and some time on Easy Mode, all while pursuing learner-directed goals. ⛏️ Mutual gamer tag friending is required to join our private Minecraft realm. In our Outschool Zoom classroom and private Minecraft world, inclusion and respect for each player's creations are key. We foster a collaborative environment where all learners and their creations are valued and celebrated. We stand against griefing: no tricking, trapping, stealing, or destroying others' items or pets. A fun, inclusive, and achievement-focused Minecraft experience. As a neurodivergent person myself, and an experienced, Master degreed & certified educator, I create my classes to be especially neurodiverse neurodivergent inclusive for dyslexia, autism ASD, 2e, gifted, ADHD, & PDA. Homeschool friendly.
Parental Guidance
• Minecraft Bedrock Edition is required, with multiplayer and cross-platform play enabled. Available on Windows 11, iPads, Fire tablets, Switch, Xbox, and mobile devices. Please update and restart Minecraft before class, ensure your device is online, and check any necessary subscriptions for gaming consoles.
• Mutual Minecraft Bedrock friending with me during our class time is required to participate in this weekly private Minecraft world during our social club. Please share gamer tag names privately with me before class begins.
• Participation is allowed only during the scheduled class time. Ensure simultaneous presence in the Outschool Zoom classroom during Minecraft class activities.
• In select classes, learners may choose to utilize a small group Zoom breakout room. Breakout rooms are optional and allow close collaboration with peers on projects and quests. Learners have control to join, ask for help, communicate, and leave a breakout room at any time.
• Class video recordings are not shared in social gaming classes to respect and protect all learners.
• Inclusion is key in our Zoom classroom and Minecraft world, where we respect each other's creations and stand against griefing. We create a collaborative environment where every learner and their work are valued.
• Communication is encouraged through various methods, including Zoom voice, video, chat, Minecraft chat, and in-game actions. Learners have multiple ways to engage and participate.
• To maintain a positive atmosphere, I may occasionally mute to focus discussions or manage distractions, ensuring a respectful and empowering space for all learners.
• All learners will need to be in the Outschool classroom to participate in our class Minecraft map. Learners have access to this map on my private server during our Outschool class time.
• Minecraft updates and occasional server outages may affect connectivity to our classroom Minecraft world, even with proper setup. If your learner can't connect within the first 5 minutes, I will give them a choice to stay and play in their own world, participate in our social club discussions, or leave the Outschool Zoom for the scheduled class time. If they choose to leave, I'll refund the payment as a personal courtesy since Outschool doesn't refund over Minecraft connection issues.
• Minecraft contains cartoon type violence without blood or gore.

Minecraft Bedrock Edition software downloaded, updated with connected Minecraft (Microsoft/Xbox) gamer tag account with online play and the ability to friend and play in multiplayer worlds.
